Dear members of SIG/RME,

ON-Math (http://my.nctm.org/eresources/journal_intro.asp?journal_id=6) is a unique professional journal published by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and listed in the CABELL directory of journals. Articles in ON-Math capitalize on opportunities afforded by electronic media and must pass a double blind review process to be published.

The Editorial Panel is interested in publishing articles that:

· Enhance the understanding of mathematics

· Reflect a vision of teaching and learning mathematics appropriate for the 21st century

· Exemplify best teaching practices supported by research

· Are useful to grades pre-K-14 teachers and teacher educators in their classrooms

· Address a range of issues associated with equity and diversity in mathematics education that are compatible with NCTM's "mathematics for all" statement

Authors are encouraged to collaborate with others who may have technical expertise in creating an article that capitalizes on electronic media. All submissions will undergo a peer review process established by the journal's Editorial Panel.
